Cherokee Central Schools follows the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The CCS curriculum includes locally developed courses, including Cherokee Language courses.  Cherokee language, culture, and history are integrated in all content areas.

In June 2017, Cherokee Central Schools embarked on a journey to personalize education for its students.  This initiative was supported by the Qualla Education Collaborative (QEC) and with financial support from Cherokee Preservation Foundation.  Learn more about the Personalized Education initiative here.
