All New Hire Employees are subject to Drug Testing. Please bring a form of ID with you to the site. Drug testing usually takes place in the Drug & Alcohol Management Professionals Office located at 230 Main Street, Bryson City, NC 28713.
As a new employee, it is our duty to ensure the safety of our students and faculty. You will be required to obtain an employee badge, keys to your classroom/office, and a parking tag. Forms can be found on the school intranet once you pass the Security Awareness Test.
**New staff will be required to pass the Security Awareness Test to gain access to a computer.
Forms for an employee badge and key(s) will need to be signed by your Director/Principal and turned into Facilities Management Administrative Assistant, Jeanne Beck, ext. 45086. Facilities Management is located near the football stadium at the North Entrance.
Parking tags will be issued by Yona Wade, CAC and PR Director, at ext. 45032 or Jae Winchester, CAC and PR Administrative Assistant, at ext. 45124. The CAC offices are located between Elementary and Middle School.
Teaching/Office staff members will be issued a computer username and password by I.T. They will also be issued a school email address. I.T. can be contacted at email@example.com
**ALL CHEROKEE CENTRAL SCHOOLS STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MANDATORY SCANS TRAINING ONCE A YEAR. Training's will be held monthly.
